PAPILLON

a short film by
Francesca Bertin

PAPILLON, aka M49, is a brown bear that gets too close to people in the Mocheni Valley in northern Italy. A problem bear. And a projection. Night-vision cameras are still the most reliable eyewitnesses to its existence. Alice, a biologist, sets off on his trail, and with her the movie. PAPILLON tells the final stages of an escape.
